Cancellation fees apply as set out below. We recommend event insurance for larger functions.
Cancellation fee table
| Timing before event | Fee |
|---|---|
| More than 60 days | Deposit retained (typically 20%) |
| 30–60 days | 50% of total estimated event value |
| Less than 30 days | 75–100% depending on suppliers and perishables |
Specific terms appear on each booking confirmation. Venue access or supplier fees paid on your behalf are recoverable.
Food safety & allergens
We operate under recognised food safety standards. Our team holds current food handling certifications and we follow HACCP-aligned practices in procurement, storage and service.
Clients must declare dietary requirements at least 14 days prior to the event. While we manage allergens carefully, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment due to shared kitchens and suppliers.
For urgent allergy information or to request our Supplier & Ingredient list, contact Brillantex@outlook.com.

Liability, insurance & third parties
To the extent permitted by law, Brillantex's liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We maintain public liability and professional indemnity insurance; however venues and clients should maintain appropriate event insurance for property damage, cancellation and other event risks.
We are not responsible for loss arising from venue negligence, guest behaviour, weather or third-party suppliers outside our direct engagement.
Venue requirements
- Venue to provide safe power, access and storage.
- Insurance certificates may be requested prior to service.
- Brillantex reserves the right to refuse service where safety is compromised.
